Сафари-парк расположен в городе-курорте Геленджик Краснодарского края, на южном склоне Маркотхского хребта. Территория Парка составляет 156 гектаров. Она покрыта лиственным и хвойным лесом, множеством кустарников, а разнообразие полевых цветов поражает воображение!!! На территории Сафари-парка животные содержатся в полувольных условиях — в удобных вольерах, размерами от 0,2 до 2 гектар каждый.
«Сафари-парк» — первый на Черноморском побережье реабилитационный центр для животных. Животные, проживающие в «Сафари-парке», имеют сложную судьбу, у каждого из них своя непростая история. Мы не покупаем животных для «пополнения коллекции». Они попадают к нам либо из цирков России — списанные с манежа по возрасту либо те, кто отказался работать в цирке с дрессировщиками; их также приносят фотографы как «отработанный материал»; ведь им интересны только маленькие, забавные зверюшки, а когда они вырастают — куда их девать? Поступают животные и от охотников — маленькие детеныши, оставшиеся без мамы, раненые, больные. Мы заботимся о них, лечим, кормим; все животные содержатся в чистоте и достатке, они в «Сафари-парке» — главные!
«Сафари-парк» — это не только реабилитационный центр для животных, но и центр досуга и отдыха жителей и гостей курорта. Здесь Вы можете подняться по канатной дороге на вершину Маркотхского хребта и с высоты 640 м восхититься видами города и Геленджикской бухты, посетить выставочный комплекс «Из глубины веков и вод», побывать в первой в России искусственной пещере. History
Safari Park Safari-Park is situated in the city-resort Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Region, on the Southest slope of the Markotkhsky Ridge. The area of the Park comes up to 156 hectares! It is covered with deciduous and coniferous woods, great number of bushes, the variety of wild flowers strikes the imagination! Animals of the Safari-Park are kept in semi-free conditions — in comfortable open-air cages having sizes from 0,2 to 2 hectares.
Safari-Park is the first animal rehabilitation centre on the Black Sea coast. Animals living here have difficult destinies, each of them has its own complicated history. We don’t buy new animal in order to «widen a collection». They are usually brought here either from Russian circuses — written off the arena for their age or rejection to work with trainers; also brought by photographers as «wastes», because they are interested only in little funny babies, and when they grow up — there turns out a problem of keeping them!? Sometimes baby animals, those who lost their mothers, wounded, sick come from hunters.
We take care of them, cure and feed them; all animals are kept in cleanness and sufficiency, they are the main point of the Safari-Park!
Safari-Park is not only the animal rehabilitation centre, but entertainment and relax centre for tourists and residents as well. Here you can be brought up by our chairlift on the top of the Markotkhsky Ridge and feel the delight watching views of the city and the Gelendzhik Bay at the height of 640 meters, visit our exhibition complex «From the depth of ages and waters», visit the first artificial cave in Russia.
